Tibet or Bhutan knife of the early 20th century.
This well crafted locally made knife appears to be from the 1920/30s.
A good working blade made from an old file with a strong razor sharp edge. Solid horn grip. The finely detailed scabbard is made from low grade nickel silver also known as German silver.
The repousse work on the sheath is very well done for local handy crafts and shows in good detail the Eight Auspicious symbols of Buddhism.
Overall in the sheath it is 36cm, out 35.5cms witha 24cms blade.
A nice and unusual example of a knife/dagger from the region.
