Massive Antique Moro Fighting Barong.
Slightly under 24 inches long, this massive antique Barong has a gorgeous 16 inch long leaf shaped blade clearly showing lamination/forging lines.
The blade is razor sharp, you could shave with this piece.
The hilt is solid on the blade and exhibits a fine burl pattern. It is wrapped in decorative silver sheet with three woven silver bands between the the silver collar and the burl hilt.
The blade seems to secured to the hilt by lead which is present between the silver collar and the blade.
Overall a gorgeous piece.
