This sabre measures 92.5cms long in the scabbard.
Out of the scabbard it is 89cms long and has a blade length of 75cms.
The hilt is Rosewood timber slaps pinned to the tang by two iron rivets. The long iron bolsters follow the contours of the grip, widening at the blade.
The blade is thick and very well balanced and has a large block ricasso for two handed use. There are two fullers to each side with the upper fuller ending at the clipped back edge. The cutting edge is still sharp.
The scabbard is worn but complete. The fittings are iron and in good condition.
