A very large and rare fighting Kukri.

This rare Kukri known as a broad leaf Kukri is 55cms long in its sheath.
Out of the sheath it is 52.5cms long and has a blade length of 42.5cms long and 7.5cms wide at the belly or 3 inches in the old school denoting this to be a genuine broad belly Kukri.
The hilt is a very fine dark rosewood. When examined very closely there is a small loss expertly restored on the edge of the pommel.
The blade is Heavy but very well balanced. There is Nepalese script, "eyelash" and "Chintamani" markings to one side as well as groupings of 20 "N"s or "Z", all being rare features.
The edge remains extremely sharp, this coupled with the weight and desgin of the blade makes for a serious and efficient fighting knife.
The scabbard is well made but appears to be covered at a later date to the Kukri.

A very rare and large fighting knife that displays excellent Nepalese markings.
