A good interesting early Kukri with a solid ivory handle.

This Kukri measures over 46cms long and carries a blade just over 35cms long from the centre of the bolster to the tip.
The hilt is solid ivory with a wide stylised beak like pommel. The hilt measures just under 13cms or 5 inches from the tip of the pommel to the centre of the edge of the bolster.
The blade has single fullers to each side, running just under the spine for half the length of the blade.
It has a narrow base and widens in to a long thin blade. The Kaudi is a longer shallow type. The profile and Kaudi shape indicate this blade to be a much earlier type of known Kukri.

A fine old fighting Kukri with a solid ivory hilt.
