A good example of a George V Officers sword.

This George V Officers Dress Sword measures 99cms long in the scabbard.
Out of the scabbard it is 98cms long with a blade length of 82.5cm.
The grip is a wire bound ray skin wire bound type. The guard is a pierced and foliate engraved pressed steel basket.
The blade is a well marked, frost etched type displaying 'G.R V' cypher and makers details, being C Boyton & Sons Clerkenwell.
Proof stamps to the reverse.
It is complete with its leather bound scabbard
