Bali Keris.
A very nice example of an extremely rare Bali keris.
This 19th century example of a gilded and painted bali keris is 67cms long in the sheath, 54cms long out with a blade just over 43cms long.
The dress of this Keris remains in very well presevered condition with most of the gilding remaining to the front, although worn to the rear. The painting too remains in very good condition to the front and is again worn to the rear. The oversize hilt also remains in very good condition with darker grain running through the middle of it.
The blade is very well made, displaying a wonderful old original stain. The well controlled pamor follows the cutting edge through to the tip and exhibits nice highlights to the centre of the blade too.

An extremely rare complete untouched example of a Bali Keris Sunggingan.
