A very fine example of a Victorian period Volunteer Rifle regiment sword for an Officer.

This sword measures 101cms long in its scabbard.
Out of the scabbard it measures 96.5cms with a blade length just over 80cms.
The grip, hilt and guard remain in exceptional condition with only a very minor amount of age wear to one side of the grip and a small area of the guard. Most impressive is that it has retained its original buff sword know that also remains clean in in exceptional condition.
The blade is bright and clean and well marked with all etching in bright polish.
The brass scabbard is also in exceptional condition throughout.

An exceptional example throughout with some rarer aspects. A striking Officers sword.
