A fine Dah or Daab from the Thailand, Laos regions.

This fine sword is of demure proportions and complete from end to end.
It measures 74.5cms long in its scabbard, 72cms out and has a blade length of 47.5cms.
The hilt is timber bound in fine rattan to the middle and dresses with very fine quality silverwork with shows multiple makers stamps to the pommel end.
The blade is narrow of waist and widens through the belly . The spine shows a medial ridge from the thick base through to the upswept tip.
The scabbard is timber bound in rattan and finished with fine silver ends that also show the makers stamps. Attached to the upper section is an original suspension baldric.

A very fine sword throughout.
