A very nice Spear or Javelin from the Kelling Hall collection.

This example is approx 152cms long, the forged iron head and faceted collar is 44cms long and is secured to the cane shaft with pitch and Suasa wrappings.
Made with prefect balance and has the feel of good flight. The point of balance is to the middle of the first cane section behind the Suasa wrapping.
A simplistic and beautiful quality Javelin that has remained untouched for the last 100+ years.
