A very nice and unusual sword from the far east Indian border regions between Nepal and Bhutan.

A lovely and weightly jungle sword or Payak, measures 55cms overall with a wonferful blade that is 42cms and has retained a very sharp edge.
The blade is well fullered with a strong point.
The hilt is well carved dark timber with a brass bolster to the base of the blade.
A nice seldom seen sword free from damage or pitting, being from a little known region in the world.
