A very nice and unusual presentation kukri of fine quality.
This wonderful example measures 49cms overall in the sheath, 47cms out from pommel centre to blade tip with a 36cm blade and a hilt approx 125mm.
The hilt is of rosewood with a silver band at the bolster with what appears to be Islamic script.
The bolster is blued. The blade is of good quality watered steel.
The fine scabbard is of green velvet with the most beautiful fine decotative silver work to both the throat and chape with green gem like stones (glass?) around the throat.
A very fine and no doubt unique Kukri.
