Kukri, large Indian fighting Kukri, Steel hilt with Koftgari, 19th century

A very rare Indian Kukri.
A seldom seen Indian all steel Kukri with silver Koftgari to the hilt.
Just under 49cms in the sheath, 48cms out with a 37cm blade with an 8mm spine.
The scabbard, although in very worn condition and seperated, is the original scabbard to this Kukri.
Very comfortable in the hand with a nice forward weight.
The blade is clearly forged and is hollow ground.
The hilt is a very unusual steel design, is well decorated and retains a lot of its original Koftgari.
A very nice and rare fighting Kukri, examples like this are rarely seen.
