A very nice old fighting Kukri
Overall in the sheath this example measures 41cms, out it is 40cms with a thick heavy blade just under 33cms.
The hilts of the Kukri and knives are very well carved and solid bone and that have a dark yellow age patina.
The Kukri is a full partial tang construction that is peened in two places on the iron butt cap.
The blade is heavy, shows a nice Kaudi, triple fullers to the spine, an iron bolster and a very well constructed forged hollow ground blade.
The sheath remains free from splits or cuts that are so common on Kukri.
The back of the sheath once housed a multiple tool kit but now only the companion knives remain.
A surprisingly nice old fighting Kukri.
