A Sumatran Sewar knife.
27cms sheathed, 23cms out, blade 17cms including the stem/bolster.
From the later 20th century, this Sewar is made in a traditional style and remains in good condition.
The hilt is horn, the sheath nice contrasting timbers carved in the traditional form. The blade is extremely sharp but carries a small loss and pitting near the tip.
A good traditional Sumatran knife.
