A very rare and exceptional Moro Kris.

This example measures just under 62cms sheathed. It is 57cms out and carries a very fine 18th century twist core blade that is 44cms long.
The blade measures 10cms across the ganja. The deep central fullers are 36cms long with the smaller at the base being 8cms long.
The hilt is an Elephant ivory type that is expertly carved and finished and it is 4cms wide.
The binding is expertly braided and layered and is finished in a dark protective coating original to the piece with a similar binding and coating/patina seen on the Pershing attributed Kampilan seen within the gallery page.
The timber sheath is again in outstanding condition with just a minor loss to the top of the sheath. The body of the sheath measures 3cms thick.

Pieces of this quality and completeness are rarely seen in todays market place.
