This oversized Navaja with the blade marked Navaja de Toledo was likely made in France for the Spanish market using Spanish made blades.
The Overall length of this example is 52cms long when opened and 4cms wide. Closed it is 28cms long and 5cms wide.
The body of the knife is brass slabs attached to a thick and very strong back spring. Attached to these inner slabs horn and brass panels with decorative end pieces.
The broad blade carries a very sharp edge and a clipped back edge. The tip has a very small loss.
