A fine and complete Taureg sword, early to mid 20th century.

This broadsword measures 102cms long in the sheath.
Out it is 101cms long with an 86cm blade.
The blade is 5cms across, double edged and tapers to the rounded tip. Three fullers run for most of the length of the blade.
The hilt is leather over iron with a raised bronze pommel.
The scabbard is leather with iron suspension rings and mixed metal drag. The drag has separated on three of the four sides and hangs loose when the sword is drawn.

A fine example of a Taureg fighting sword.
