A very good Burmese fighting sword, Dha.

This Dha measures 75cms long in the sheath, 72cms out of the sheath with a blade length just under 55cms.
The hilt comprises of a domed brass pommel, dented to the end, long brass ends to the grip and a thick raised ray-skin grip tacked to the underside.
The blade is of a thick cross section at the forte, narrowing to the tip. There is a single broad fuller running through to the end and a beveled cutting edge.
The scabbard is timber with simple brass bands.

A nice Burmese fighting sword, circa 1920.
