Fine Turkish Yataghan with Turkish Ribbon Damascus Core

A very nice Turkish Yataghan/Yatagan with a Turkich ribbon Damascus core.
Overall 30 inches in the scabbard and 29&1/2 inches out of the scabbard with a 24&1/4 inch blade.
The blade is a finely forged with pattern welded Damascus Turkish ribbon steel core clearly visible, the balde is in outstanding condition for it's age.The hilt with the side ears are carved from a dark brown horn that has been mostly blacked over time, possibly Rhino horn.
The blade collar and grip strap are also dark with age patina.Overall Good condition complete with original scabbard that has replacement material over the original canvas that is still present under it.
A few very small stains near the blade tip. The grip strap and bolsters are slightly damaged. One horn ear has a very minor horn chip.
