A very nice large 19th century fighting Talibon from the Christian tribes of the Northern Philippines.
This piece measures 71cms out of the scabbard, has a spine 1cm thick at the hilt with a good thumb recess cut out near the hilt.
The hilt and scabbard have fine cracks with some loss to the hilt area. Origianl rattan bindings still in place.
A very rare sword.
