A lovely Keris from the Malay regions.
This Keris measures approx 44cms sheathed, approx 41cms out with a blade length of 34cms.
The hilt is a very finely carved burl timber, the mendak a very nicely chiseled brass example.
The sheath is of good quality grained timber but is unfortunately suffering from damage and loss as seen in the images.
The blade is a very fine blade exhibiting a wonderful pamor beneath the old patina.
