An interesting Yemeni Jambiya.

This unusual example is likely made by Indian Migrants along the Southern Yemen coastline.
The hilt is a very dark hardwood with decoration displaying classic Yemen styling found from Hadhramaut to the southern coastlines.
The blade shows classic Indian high contrast pattern welding and is very thick through the medial ridge, very sharp and quite heavy.
The overall quality of the blade is excellent.
The sheath is a simple type with a simple white metal throat piece.

A very unusual Jambiya with a small loss to the pommel.
