A very good complete Indian fighting sabre, Tulwar.

This broad heavy sword measures 102cms long in the scabbard. Out of the scabbard it is just under 98cms and has a blade length of 84cms and a width of 4.5cms at the hilt.
The large hilt retain most of its original raised silver work. The silver work is very well applied with various layers of a differing depth being applied.
The heavy blade is a full wootz construction in very good condition. The edges are sharp as is the 24cms back edge.
The scabbard retains its original silver fittings and black leather covering. The silver fittings show minor losses and dents.

A very good and clean fighting sword from the North Western Frontiers of India, likely a Sikh sword.
