A nice old Dadao in solid fighting condition but of excavated appearance.
At 93cms overall and with a 69cms blade.
The blade in its day would have been of very high quality. It is triple fullered with nice distal taper. The spine is is file marked in groupings of three lines. The hilt end of the blade shows a pyramid shaped grouping of six dots.
The guard is solid and of forged steel construction and the hilt and ring pommel are covered in a modern tape.
A great study piece at a very good price and still very suitable for form work with a proper old warrior.
