A very fine ivory hilted Daab of high quality throughout.

This sword measures 86cms long in its scabbard, 84.5cms out and has a blade length of 55cms.
The ivory hilt is embellished in very fine quality silver fittings with the pommel being of a most unusual domed form.
Mounted within the hilt is a superb blade of surgical quality.
The faces are hollow forged and have a fine and sharp cutting edge tapering from the raised edge of the fuller, this edge runs through to the very tip of the desirable lotus bud tip type. Running the full length of the faces of the blade are two narrow fullers sitting just below the spine.
The spine of the blade has also been expertly worked with multiple fullers and inlay with the central fuller running through down on to the tip of the blade.
The scabbard is bound in the same fine quality silverwork throughout.
