A very fine Aboriginal throwing, hunting or fighting club with display stand
Standing 44cms tall on the stand or 38cms long in the hand, this very nice club displays quality incised decorations to most of its surfaces.
The base retains most of its resin application, the crown displays fine swirling incised lines.
The incised decorations covering the surface vary to include vertical, diagonal, chevron, dot and circular sun-like motifs.
A very rare and attractive piece of Australian history.
