A Pesh Kabz of massive proportions from the North Western Indian frontiers.

This knife / sword is huge! I have in the images shown the hilt next to a 'normal' sized example to show just how massive this piece is.
Sheathed, this example is 64cms long. Out it is a fraction under 64cms. The thick T-spine blade is 49cms not including the bolster.
The bolster is 6cms tall, 2cms deep and 3.5cms wide.
The enormous grips are just under 12cms long and at the pommel, each are 5.5cms tall and 2cms thick.
The tang is 1cm thick to the top with distal taper through to the bottom. The to end is a faceted lobe in Indian style for a lanyard suspension.
The blade is well forged with chevron like patterns in the surfaces of the steel. It has a very sharp edge and a T'spine tapering to the tip.

A very large and heavy Pesh akin to the Khyber knives/Salawar of Afghanistan but with its own rare styling.
