A very good fighting spear from Sumatra.

Overall length of this spear is 186cms long.
The head is 31cms long with a cutting edge of 23cms.
The spear head sits inside a simple tapered broanze socket which helps secure the head within the timber shaft to prevent splitting when thrown.
The shaft shows a very fine warm patina over the entire length. It tapers from 2.5cms to 1.5cms and flares again at the carved butt.

A very fine Sumatran spear with a very pleasing age patina.
