A nice French lock back couteau.

22.5cms closed, 42cms open with a blade length of 20cms.
In good conditon throughout with expected wear from age.
The grip slabs are turtle shell/tortoise shell and are finished with brass caps. Decorative silver inlay is seen to one one side of the grip, the larger of which is now missing.
The blade is manufacturer marked. It is sharp, has a clipped back and a full needle point.

A nice well priced example.
