A very good quality all steel Indo Persian double headed axe.

The axe is just under 70cms long and the blades are just under 19cms across. The axe is of very good robust quality and in very good condition.
The thick faceted steel shaft has three sections of chiseled spiral patterns sitting between four sections of octagonal faceting with chiseled ends.
To the end of the shaft is mounted a decorated double headed axe with distal taper.
The axe head, when struck with a finger nail carries a long resonating bell ring.

A very good quality Qajar period ceremonial axe in very good condition.
