A very nice example of the rare Sudanese Haladie.

In the sheaths, the overall length of this Haladie is just over 66cms. With the sheaths removed the overall length is 65cms.
Each blade is just under 17cms.
The handle is well carved bone with a nice glossy patina.
The blades are entirely covered in Thuluth script, likely repeated prayer invocations.
The blades each have a shaped cutout resembling a keyhole, perhaps carrying a symbolic meaning of which I am unsure.

A very nice and complete rare fighting weapon from Sudan.
